Without having an ARM certification, their products will be viewed as contraband and their sales will be subject to fines and penalties. This is not something that any arms dealer wants.
Many arm dealers realize that the lack of such a certificate is a serious problem. Many dealers are turning to a process called “armed security” to ensure that their clients and potential customers understand the meaning of the ARM certification. Armed security is a new process that offers a completely different way to identify and validate the authenticity of a licensed arms dealer.
Armed Security is the use of a different marking system to validate the arm dealer’s license. Armed Security will not only make sure that the arms dealer has the proper license but that the arms dealer has been cleared by the International Committee of the Red Cross and other agencies recognized by the UN. Armed Security has also determined that a certified arms dealer does not have to carry a particular identification card that is required by all nations in which the arms dealer operates.
Armed Security also requires a special serial number to validate the license that every licensed arms dealer must carry. In the past it was sometimes difficult to obtain this identification, but armed security has been able to find a way to use a serial number to verify the license of every licensed arms dealer.
These two things should help make a dealer aware of the seriousness of the need to keep their arm dealer’s license current. and up to date. Armed Security is not something that any dealer wants to be without, as it is an important tool in ensuring the integrity of the arms dealer’s business.
Armed Security will also help the arm dealer to avoid possible fines or penalties for engaging in activities that are not authorized by the Arms Trade Treaty. The treaty was created to regulate the export and import of arms to and from one nation to another. As such, the arms trade is regulated under the arms trade treaty.
Every arms dealer that wishes to engage in the arms trade has to be certified by the Arms Trade Treaty. However, the Arms Trade Treaty does not apply to regular sales and purchases of ordinary goods. A licensed arm dealer has to abide by the terms of the arms dealer’s licensing agreement. The agreement provides for several penalties if a dealer is caught buying a prohibited weapon without the appropriate card. This agreement is part of the Arms Dealers Agreement.
