The Arm Architecture Certification exam consists of four parts: the Foundation System, the Pre-Constructor, the Architectural Planning Processes and the Structural Design Process. Each portion is designed to test one specific skill set. Students are assigned a partner, either an architect or a design engineer, to help with the completion of the examination. The process is usually completed in two or three years and students should expect to work at least two hours a week for the first year in order to finish the program.
The foundation system is a one-step process, which includes the placement of structures within the building’s foundation and the foundation’s foundation alignment. It takes between forty and sixty minutes to complete each section. Students are required to construct each floor using at least five feet of wood, concrete, or tile.
The structural planning process requires students to construct the structure in sections by laying out the structure using a detailed drawing. Students are able to choose between using different levels of detail in the drawing such as the first, second and third floor of the building. Students also must evaluate the architectural needs of the building to ensure that it will meet the desired construction requirements. Students are also required to consider issues such as the material selection, site preparation, and foundation installation.
The Architectural Planning Processes includes multiple steps and is typically broken down into four sub-processes. In the Pre-Constructor stage students must design a design in a form acceptable for the construction of a building. The Constructor stage of the exam tests a student’s ability to construct and use structural plans. The Design stage includes creating a design document for the structural plan, preparing the design for construction and finalizing the design with architectural information from local building codes and local engineers.
The Structural Design Process involves the actual construction process. Students will build each floor, foundation and exterior section of the building through the Architectural Plan process. Students must also complete design, install and repair any defects in the construction process by using the architectural information provided by local engineers and code inspectors.
In order to earn an accredited and recognized BSC or ASIA B.S.A. exam, students must successfully complete all four phases of the Arm Architecture Certification. exam.
Students will need to work with an architect, a design engineer and an architectural drafting contractor to help them through the entire process. After each phase, students will present their findings to their design engineer and architect. The exam is administered by the ASIA.
Students will need to pass an examination in order to become a licensed architect and pass the Arm Architecture Certification exam. The exam consists of fifteen different questions, each of which requires knowledge of the construction industry and structural planning to answer.
The Arm Architecture Certification exam is available online for students who are currently enrolled in an accredited B.S. A.D. or B.S.S.E. program at a participating university or college.
