Another way the Badgers can improve their throwing mechanics is by having their receivers catch more passes. It might be hard for Stave to be a top-level passer if he has to throw the ball so often. To help alleviate that, the receivers need to see more targets. This means that Wisconsin will need to take more snaps of play action.

When the offense is on the field, it can be a great option for the receivers to get the ball in their hands quickly. Receivers like sophomore Rashad Greene are used to catching quick passes, making quick decisions, and turning them into big plays.

By taking more snaps of play action, Stave can focus more on the ball and make better decisions. that will lead to better throws. His passing numbers might actually improve this season.

Another way to improve the efficiency of Stave’s throws is to get the ball out faster. Stave needs to shorten his throws. He threw an incompletion to sophomore WR D’Angelo Henderson when he was pressured on a third-and-four.

If the quarterback wants to keep his team on the schedule, he must show a lot of patience with his throws. Stave needs to know that there will be times that his receivers are dropping passes. and that he needs to take his time to diagnose why. to avoid giving up points on mistakes.

Even though Stave is a very accurate passer, the Badgers need to keep improving on his passing mechanics if they want to improve their passing numbers. this year. When this happens, Wisconsin should have one of the top offenses in the country.

By finding a way to make their quarterback a lot more accurate, Stave’s numbers will increase. He may even become a consensus top-five pick in the draft. No doubt, Wisconsin fans will be excited for the new found hope.
